From Dorchester, take the A37 towards Yeovil. Follow the road through Grimstone and turn left onto A356 signposted Frampton and Maiden Newton. Take first left signposted Notton after leaving Frampton.

On leaving the main road cross the River Frome and follow the unmade lane to the left of the farmhouse and up the hill signposted Notton Hill Barn. Follow the now tarmaced lane through three field gates/cattle grids, up the valley until you reach the third gate. After passing through that gate the cottages can be found on the right hand side.

The map pointer on this page shows the exact location of Notton Hill Barn Cottages. If you select satellite view on the map and enlarge the view you will see the cottages. Please note that Google's label for the cottages on the map is incorrectly positioned ...

For directions click on the map pointer and then click directions on the pop up and enter where you're travelling from. The blue directions line on the map shows the route correctly. Please note though that the turn by turn directions are not accurate for the last two miles.
